179. Itzhak SOLSKY¹⁵⁶ was born estimated 1912 in Jonava, Lithuania. He is not listed in the Jonava vital records, but his grandson Itzhak Solsky has a family tradition that he was from Jonava. He emigrated in 1934 from Israel.^68,156 from his grandson, also Itzhak Solsky:

The story was that Itzhak came to Palestine first - and then, when things got more menacing in Europe, he made the trip again to Lituania (!!!) - being a man with rare courage - in order to convince his brother Arieh/Leib to come with him to Israel. This act of convincing was successful.

Itzhak was a big survivor. He also made others (Ari Leib) survive.

Unfortunately this big man died well before his time, at age 52 only, from a heart attack.

He was a heavy smoker and drinker, according to what I heard from my father - but an exceptional personality with great wisdom and foresight - which came into expression in many other ways I've heard of, quite apart from the story of going back to Lituania to save his brother! He died estimated 1965 at the age of 53 in Israel.¹⁵⁶

Itzhak SOLSKY had the following children:
