197. Yokub Leib "Leib" SOLSKI^54,74,162 was born on 14 November 1919 in Kovna, Lithuania.^54,74 He is listed on the List of Evacuees to the USSR as translated by LitvakSIG. The document is held in the Central Archives (LCVA/R-754/10/11). The destination of his evacuation is Saratov district, Russia. He died of a heart attack in 1978 at the age of 59 in Tel Aviv, Israel.⁵⁴ Leib and his brother-in-law joined the Russian Army. Leib survived the war and emigrated to Israel. His Saul cousins bought him a taxi so that he could build a new life. (A large number of the Yiddish letters from Sol & Israel Yudelson concern buying Leib his taxi and getting it through customs.)
