birth for Morris--1862 and 1865. This date is taken from the Jonava
Birth records.
The Hebrew date is Elul 1. He resided in Plymouth, England in 1885.50 He immigrated in 1886 to South Africa.51 Morris died in October 1912 at the age of 49 in Berlin, Germany.50 From the 1887 List of Residents of Janova:
Movsha did not come to be drafted during the 1883 draft. According the Kovno Military Draft Office Deposition dated 30 July, 1896, No.1190, Movsh Solsky was a subject to draft in 1879. According the Draft Regulation, Article 350, he reached the age beyond the draft eligibility and was exempted from being drafted. Morris SULSKI and Golde FREDMAN were married in June 1886 in Plymouth, England.51 Golde FREDMAN50 immigrated in 1888 to South Africa.51 She resided in Atlanta, Georgia, USA from 1920 to 1929.50 Rhoda Berman told of a family story that Golde lost her first pregnancy in England. That was the reason that Morris went to South Africa, he was looking for a warmer climate as the doctors thought she would not survive the cold English winters. She may have had rheumatic fever, lost the baby, and was left with a weak heart. He resided % Shilato's Department Store, Children's Shoe Department in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA in 1955.53 Fred died after 1960 at the age of 70 in South Africa.52 He confided to his nephew that he was married in Cincinnati, but never told the family. There were no children.
