Louis SOLSKY was born in 1909.¹⁷² He immigrated about 1939 to South Africa.⁸⁸ He died on 28 May 1992 at the age of 83 in South Africa.¹⁷³ Louis was buried in Pinelands 2 Cemetery in Capetown, South Africa.^172,174 He was also known as Yisrael Leib ben Zussel. per letter from Basil Frank's cousin, Sidney Jawitz, Louis married twice and there may be some story about the circumstances. As told to me by Basil Frank:
Just phoned my cousin Stephen Solsky, who recounted family stories about how my father [Solly Frank] and Louie Solsky (first cousins because their mothers were sisters) were forced in 1915/16 by the invading German and Austrian troops to flee Krekenava and move to Southern Russia (then called White Russia, now known as Ukraine) on the sea of Asov, 200 kilometres South of Rostov Bachmut (now called Akhtarsk) with their respective families. The Rabinowitz family was established with a tobacco business there. My zaida, Isaac Frank, traded in tobacco on the black market. Louie (Lebe) Solsky told his family how they stole potatoes from the gentile farms to survive.

Faye ?^175,176 died on 10 November 1943.¹⁷² She was buried in Ceres Cemetery in Western Cape, South Africa.¹⁷⁷
