148. Sylvia SHAPPIRIO^6,19,62 was born about 1902.⁶² She died in 1964 at the age of 62 in Miami Beach, Florida, USA.⁶² She had no children. According to David Shappirio:
Sylvia was married three times: first to Leonard Feldman, next to Michael Intrator, and last to David Pavlow. They had no children.

On Sylvia's death, David Pavlow's family believed she was 56 years old, because she so informed them; her actual age was 62.

We visited her in Miami shortly before her death. As we chatted with her in her bedroom, she said: "David (meaning David Shappirio), I have a problem; maybe you can help me". I said I would if I could, and she replied: "Michael's (Michael Intrator) ashes are in the closet -- I don't know what to do because I can't scatter them anywhere now. My husband (David Pavlow) doesn't want anything to do with them." I (David Shappirio) suggested they might be scattered in the ocean off the Florida Keys where Michael loved to go fishing. When we went to Miami for her funeral, one of her stepsons asked me what they might do with Michael's ashes. They had been planning to scatter Sylvia's ashes in the ocean off Miami, but her husband David didn't want Michael's ashes anywhere near hers. I again suggested the Keys, and they seemed content. The idea of also scattering her ashes in the Keys was originally suggested by Sol Shappirio, my father (but quickly rejected by David Pavlow.)
